Applications
Use of Aluminum Hydroxide
1. Ordinary aluminum hydroxide: fluoride salt, water purification agent
2. Cable, rubber and plastic
3. Low iron hydrogen aluminum hydroxide: artificial agate filler, artificial jade, handicraft filler, toothpaste friction agent.
4. The most common use is as a raw material for the production of alumina, which further contributes to the production of aluminum metal.
5. It is used in gel form.
6. As a filler for different cosmetics.
7. Aluminum hydroxide is used as an additive in glass to improve thermal shock resistance.
8. As a flame retardant and soft abrasive for plastics.
9. It is also widely used in the manufacture of differentwaterproof fabrics and papers.
